Orthodontic treatment procedure
- 1. Preliminary consultation (30-60minutes)
- First, we examine the current alignment and condition of your teeth and discuss what type of results you would like to see. We also look into any lifestyle factors which are having a negative impact on your alignment. After we’ve completed this, we will discuss your treatment options as well as treatment time and costs. This consultation is free, however making an appointment in advance is required.
- 2. Examination (60-90minutes)
- To work out the precise details of your treatment, we will perform a thorough examination of your mouth. This may include X rays, dental photography, an alignment inspection, and checking your bite.
- 3. Diagnostic and treatment planning
- We will perform a follow-up examination to identify what issues need to be treated. In the case that there are multiple possible treatment options, we will discuss what each of these entails. While looking at a projection and simulation of the finished results, we will explain the procedure. We will do our best to try to accommodate the patient’s wishes when creating the treatment plan.
- 4. Start of treatment (Setting orthodontic appliances)
- Fitting braces may require multiple visits to make sure that they are properly attached to your teeth. At first you may find it hard to eat or to speak properly while you get used to the braces. You may also experience some pain or discomfort. Please rest assured that our team will provide you with all the care and support that you need.
- 5. During treatment
- While you have your braces, visits are required once every 1-2 months. To complete the treatment quickly with the best possible results, a good oral hygiene regimen is important. It is essential that you follow the instructions on how to use and care for your braces. To that end, the team at Premier Smile will create a care plan to prevent any problems.
- 6. Braces removal (around 2 hours)
- We will carefully take out your braces and remove any remaining adhesive from the surface of your teeth. Afterwards we will do a thorough clean, ensuring that we clean each individual tooth. Finally, we will perform an enamel treatment to give you a clear and dazzling smile.
- 7. Maintenance
- Following the removal of your braces, you will receive a retainer to help correct and maintain your bite. Your smile can retain its dazzling gleam with whitening and annual enamel treatments. We will compare and assess the effectiveness of the treatment to ensure you are happy with the results.

About sports mouth guards
By using a sports mouse guard, it is "sports dentistry" to straighten the posture and bite of the person who exercises, and to adjust the oral environment. The use of a mouse guard has the purpose and effect of exerting the ability to the fullest while avoiding the risk of sports trauma during exercise.
There are things that are sold in the Mouse Guard (mouthpiece), such as a sporting goods store, but it is 、 to be seen many things to "be done" and "deviate".To pronounce on this shouldn't what, when it comes that does not work and when.
